Essential Job Functions:
  • Update/maintain the Control Plan for theassigned workflows.
  • Primary contact source with customer/supplier representatives, maintain positive communication and relationship, support and attend meetings, reviews and audits.
  • Ensures that the quality system is maintained in accordance with the YF iOS standards. • Facilitate problem solving teams and respond to customer discrepancy notices.
  • Verify corrective actions and prepare problem solving customer correspondence related to quality concerns orissues.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits, and report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.
  • Establish process controls, assist in training of new projects and buy-off on new/modified equipment and processes.

Additional responsibilities:
  • Participate in workgroups (e.g., FMEA, PSMC, etc.). Support the risk and failure analysis (PFMEA) reviews
  • Performs root cause analysis of technical quality problems, with support of a cross functional team.
  • Support quality/dimensional control systems (i.e., X&R charts, gage studies, Six Sigma, dimensional capability studies).
  • Strong working knowledge of APQP tools (e.g., Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, SPC, etc.).

Specific Requirements:

Education Level: Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study: Quality, Industrial of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience in Quality or Engineering related function.

Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Qualifications:
  • 1 -3 Years of Experience working in the field of Quality,Engineering CI or similar (recent college graduate is considered acceptable).
  • LessThan 1 Years of Experience within the automotive industry. •
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment, establishing partnerships both internally and externally. •
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills withexcellent verbal and written communication skills. •
  • Possess knowledge on the fundamentals of PPAP and APQP processes. •
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel,and PowerPoint is required.

Preferred Qualifications: •
  • Experience working directly with customers and suppliers, particularly automotive related ishighly desirable. •
  • Understanding of the Quality function such as customer service,metrology, and quality analysis techniques (i.e., Design of experiments, Red X, PPAP, Control Plan,etc.).
