Job Summary/Overview

The Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This position involves developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and coordinating with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Create detailed documentation and reports on quality performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee and maintain gauge calibration system.
  • Train and mentor production staff on quality control processes and standards.
  • Issue and complete Corrective Actions.
  • Co-Manage the Quality Management System.
  • Perform inspections when needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.


Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, and machining.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous problems.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office Suite.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus.
  • Facilitator training is desirable.
  • Blueprint reading skills and previous use of measuring equipment required.
  • Awareness of OSHA and ISO-9000 standards.
