Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineering Technical Support for a six plus month onsite contract position with a client located in Spencer, IN. You will work within manufacturing, post-market surveillance, pre-market, Engineering and CAPA in order to document and update quality investigations.

Pay/Salary Range: $23.00 per hour

Quality Engineering Technical Support job responsibilities include:

• Input inspection results data into database tracking systems.

• Maintain investigation files and databases.

• Support quality projects and initiatives.

• Learn and maintain knowledge of manufacturing processes and associated documentation to the quality team.

• Help provide support and serve as a liaison between other functional areas.

• Read, comprehend, follow product and packaging specifications and manufacturing instructions and drawings.

• Perform data reporting and trending.

• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.

• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.

• Must have effective communication skills, which may include oral or written

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.

• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED. Associate's Degree preferred.

• Minimum one year experience in a regulated industry, preferably in a medical manufacturing environment.

• MS Office experience required. jBase, TrackWise and Business Objects preferred.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Working knowledge of investigation methods and tools.

• Knowledge of medical device regulations, including pertinent standards and guidance preferred.

• Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment including safety glasses, lab coat and gloves required in some areas associated with this position.
