A Government client is looking for a Quality Improvement Analyst to join their team. The primary purpose of this position is to lead quality improvement efforts and agile development processes to enhance one of the customers systems. The employee will design and implement metrics and qualitative data collection methodologies that help the organization understand system health, user engagement, and population health trends derived from HIEA data. The role is also responsible for analyzing and reporting findings and making recommendations that will drive continuous improvement across provider engagement, operations, and analytics teams. Through strategic insights and effective collaboration, the position ensures that NC HealthConnex remains a vital tool for healthcare providers, payers, and public health stakeholders in North Carolina.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of proven experience in quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) and their application in healthcare or health IT settings.
Agile Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile principles, with practical experience in applying them to health IT system development.
Experience in program evaluation, including designing surveys, developing focus group facilitation strategies, and conducting both quantitative and qualitative research.
Strong ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and present findings to both technical and non[1]technical stakeholders.
Ability to work closely with various teams (provider engagement, operations, analytics) and stakeholders to align quality improvement efforts with organizational goals.
Understanding of population health concepts and how health data can be leveraged to derive insights that inform clinical or operational improvements.
