Hiring an experienced Quality Technician for oceanside, Ca.

Shift M-Th 6am-430pm. Pay range $24-$26 DOE.

Purpose

Define the general tasks and responsibilities of a Quality Technician/Inspector as required.

As a Quality Techician you will:

Reports to Quality System Manager

Performs dimensional and visual inspection, in-process and finished product inspections, and acceptance testing per documented procedures; audits received material/components and verifies material/processing certificates to prurchase ordetrs.

First piece and set-up inspections and supports production with technical inspection help and flooring monitoring.

Documents inspection results, creates Firt Article reports per AS9102 requirements, when necessary, and generates nonconforming reports.

Maintains inspection and traceability records in company computer system.

Other duties as assigned including work schedule adjusmtnet, as needed.

Long term employment opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

3-5 years machine shop experience, including close-tolerance dimensional inspection work.

Expertise in all inspection tools and equipment, including CMM, comparators, vision systems, surface plate, micrometers, attribute use and gauging, etc.

Good understanding of machine parts blueprints and GD&T requirements.

Knowledge of industyry quality standards, including medical device component manufacturing.

Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; proficient MS Office.

Relevant training in manufacturing, quality amnd inspection principales, including problem solving/corrective action, SPC, Gauge R&R, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing, etc.

Attnention to detail, organizational skills, problem solving and analysis.

Pay range $24.00-26.00/hr
