Estimated duration is 3 months* The CAES Quality Assurance function is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and fulfillment of the CAES Quality Policy, which is to comply fully in the conduct of the Company's business with all applicable regulatory and customer required specifications, and to maintain an effective Quality Management System, working in partnership with the Operations and Engineering teams to ensure that products and processes conform to applicable standards and specifications, and the incidence and costs of quality non-conformances are constantly monitored and improved, while maintaining the highest practicable standards of manufacturing productivity and efficiency. Quality Inspection at CAES monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products and materials for the company. The function will conduct tests, analyze measurements, and oversee production processes. The position will entail performing incoming inspection, in-process inspection, precap and final inspection of complex integrated microwave assemblies and hybrid circuits manufactured within a clean room environment using a microscope for long periods. Inspect production hardware to ensure they meet internal requirements, using MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 & CAES specific procedures and our customers' requirements as required.
