Job Summary

The IATF Quality Management Systems Specialist is accountable for all elements of the IATF 16949 Program, and continuous improvement within the assigned geographical area of responsibility (North America).

The scope of responsibilities for this position will cover all employees and contractors working on behalf of the Company within the Manufacturing operations, and may include administrative offices, laboratories, and sales offices. This will be a hybrid position with 20% travel within the US.
  • Work closely with operations leadership to ensure continued performance of the IATF 16949 automotive program and quality management system within manufacturing operations.
  • Provide professional knowledge and technical expertise in the support around policy and program development within their region.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans and timelines appropriate for their area of responsibility.
  • Support from Quality Assurance resources within their area of responsibility who then matrix report into local or regional leadership.
  • Navigate, interact, effectively communicate, and act as a change agent at all levels of the organization within their area of responsibility to drive continuous improvement. It is anticipated that this position will require travel (~30%).

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field, preferably in the automotive or chemical industry.
  • IATF 16949 internal auditor certification or equivalent.

Experience:
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with other management systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
