Quality Control Specialist

As a Quality Control Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring top-notch product standards, collaborating closely with our Quality department. Your role will involve testing, evaluating, and monitoring our products and manufacturing systems to ensure they consistently meet and exceed quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with process owners and department managers to drive improvements and maintain control over Non-Conformance (NC), Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), and other Quality Management concerns.
  • Identify, propose, and lead impactful changes within the Quality System and Production to benefit the organization.
  • Represent the quality function in technical support matters, working with other internal teams to address manufacturing issues.
  • Oversee the tracking, documentation, and closure of Quality issues and Change Control processes.
  • Establish clear quality standards and ensure guidelines are consistently followed.
  • Maintain up-to-date work instructions and ensure compliance across all operations.
  • Document and enforce customer quality requirements.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and updates of the Quality Management System (QMS), including training databases, incident reports, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist with audits based on ISO 9001:2015 standards and conduct Supplier Quality Audits.
  • Set and monitor quality metrics throughout the production cycle to identify and resolve potential issues early.
  • Inspect materials for defects, determine root causes of technical problems, and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare and submit required quality documentation, such as FAIs, audit reports, and inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to boost customer satisfaction by improving product quality.
  • Coordinate with external quality auditors to ensure compliance with legal standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, or a related STEM field is preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years in quality engineering/assurance, ideally in a technical manufacturing environment (e.g., aerospace, medical).
  • Competencies: Strong grasp of Quality Management Systems, excellent reporting, and project management skills.
