Job Description: As a Quality Systems Engineer 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) at the Tesla Gigafactory. Your responsibilities will include:

• Quality Protocols and QMS Controls: Collaborate with quality support staff to ensure adherence to proper protocols and QMS controls and functions.
• Document Management: Initiate and maintain QMS documents and procedures, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• System Development: Develop and/or adapt systems to meet quality standards. Suggest improvements to procedures, standards, and equipment to streamline processes and maintain product quality.
• Root Cause Analysis: Support the investigation and determination of root causes for quality findings. Assist in the corrective action process to address these issues.
• Documentation Practices: Develop and promote good documentation practices. Monitor effectiveness and coach others as needed to ensure compliance.
• Paperless Manufacturing: Support initiatives to implement paperless manufacturing processes.
• QMS Requirements: Stay informed about changes to QMS requirements. Develop and implement effective plans to address these changes.
