Insight Global is looking for a Quality Technician to join our client, a leading supplier of access equipment. The ideal candidate possesses a background in both quality control and assembly manufacturing. Responsibilities include conducting inspections of electronic components, ensuring exceptional product quality, and adhering to safety standards and quality benchmarks, Additionally, the role involves making adjustments during part run-offs.

Required Skills & Experience

*2 to 3 or more years of experience within Manufacturing industry

*Mechanical skillsets to bolt together tooling components using manual, air and electric mechanics tools

*Ability to use a press to complete small sub-assemblies of tooling components

*Ability to read complex prints and identify errors, opportunities for improvement and suggestions for ease of assembly.

oAbility to read micrometers, calipers, tape measure and any manual inspection equipment.

*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

oAbility to operate CMM (coordinate measuring machines)

oGenerate data using Romer Arm or Laser Tracker measuring system

oGenerate reports of data based on print tolerances

*Ability to interpret inspection data and adjust tooling where necessary with shims or adjustment screws
