Responsible for the accuracy of all billing charges generated in the Department Of Radiation Oncology by providing billing and compliance support within the Division of Radiation Oncology as well as its patients. Performs a full range of highly complex and diversified clerical and administrative functions relating to the collection of radiation patient accounts. Reviews and independently analyzes radiation accounts including the professional and technical components, complex investigation, follow-up and problem solving claims and other collection activity requiring a great deal of initiative, independent analysis and considerable judgement. Ensures financial clearance and reimbursement for services provided. Serves as an advocate in all matters related to the financial aspects to the radiation process. Acts as a liaison for providers as well as patients with insurance carriers.

Education
Associates Degree (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
5 Years experience in a related role, including billing or collections. (Required)
3 Years experience in a customer financial service role. (Preferred)
5 Years experience in a hospital setting. (Preferred)
