Our client is seeking a highly-experienced Radio Producer to help cover a 6 month leave of absence. This person needs hands on experience with pre-recording shows (could be audio or visual). Must have prior experience working with high level talent, being hands on in the studio, understands planning and programming in this space. Must understand multiple genres of music. Must be able to work cross-functionally to manage deliverables. This is a Lead Producer role.

Ideal Candidates will possess:

• a strong understanding of pre-recorded and live radio production
• 5+ years experience leading a high level, live or pre-recorded radio production preferred
• 5+ years experience partnering with radio hosts required, preference for experience working with a variety of different hosts and artists
• Demonstrated experience working with high-level talent and artists
• Experience acting as the point of contact for key cross functional relationships including PR & Marketing
• Ability to develop show outlines, story arcs, and conduct required research and prep; must also have the ability to adapt content to fit the voice of the host or talent they are working with
• Reliable, trustworthy and excellent editorial judgement.
• Creativity and able to continuously source or generate ideas
• Be technically confident in a studio, with full mastery of the end-to-end technical process, must possess a and readiness to learn about emerging technologies or new equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to motivate, lead, and inspire the team and talent they work with
• Excellent communication, planning and time management and skills to ensure productions run to time
• Ability to be calm under pressure particularly in a studio environment
• Able to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality
• Flexible and understanding with talent, guests, contributors and change overall
• Strong writing skills for speech and platform
• Curious, a fascination with music, people and a love of story-telling

Please Note: This is a hybrid role, requiring 3-5 days onsite in NYC. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54.78 to $60.87 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
