Radiographer NCT CMA - Family Sports Care

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographers.

Work location: 604 South Third Street, Suite A Mabank TX 75147

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm and Rotating Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Completion of approved NCT training program Req
Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology Pref
6 Months Relevant work experience NCT Pref
1 Year Medical Assistant Experience Req
Other NCT Registered by the Texas Medical Board Upon Hire Req
Other CMA Upon Hire Req

To be a successful Radiographer, you will need:
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field.
Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

What You Will Do

NCT:
Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards.
Takes X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients.
Processes film and checks X-ray for clarity of image, retakes when necessary. Distributes X-ray to appropriate medical staff.
Implements infection control procedures in the work area.

CMA:
Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.
Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem.
Administers ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.
May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis as well as perform routine tests such as EKG
