Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a Radiology Technologist Assistant to join our team!

The Radiology Technologist Assistant plays a vital role in the safe, smooth and efficient delivery of diagnostic imaging care to patients of all ages. Working closely with all members of the radiology team, he/she is responsible for providing a clean and safe environment as well as functioning as transporter, positioning aide, and runner for supplies This individual assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing room cleaning and set up tasks, cleaning the department traffic areas, stocking supplies and performing end of the day cleaning tasks.

Hours: Occasional, varied hours as needed

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology not necessary but preferred to perform duties.
• Actively pursuing an Imaging or Radiology course
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
