Responsibilities

  • Operates imaging equipment during intra-operative procedures including C-arm, O-arm, Mini C-arm, and portable x-ray unit
  • Operates diagnostic imaging equipment including X-ray and fluoroscopy
  • Selects appropriate exposure factors to produce high-quality images while maintaining ALARA standards
  • Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic exams
  • Cleans and maintains imaging equipment
  • Protects patients and personnel from radiation hazards
  • Maintains required records such as daily log books
  • Navigate the PACS system including review of images and uploading outside exams
  • Apply and maintain current knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices
  • Ensures imaging equipment is in proper working condition and reports issues to the radiology manager or designee

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Associate degree from an accredited Radiology Program
  • ARRT (R) Registry
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of X-Ray experience
