ECU Health Physicians is multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.

Position Summary

Operates X-Ray Equipment to make radiographs of designated body parts. Responsibilities include knowledge of all x-ray equipment, proper patient positioning, exposures, film developing for interpretations, implementation of patient charges, and assists physician physicians as required. Performs laboratory testing, monitors test results, assures test quality and validity; communicates results in a timely manner. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a High School Graduate (or equivalent) or higher.
• Must possess a current ARRT registry.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required upon hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred Requirements

• Requires at least three months of Radiology work experience, but 1 year of experience is preferred. Clinical support services experience preferred.

• Primary Shift: Day
  • 36 hours weekly
  • Office hours are 7:30am - 7:30pm
• On Call: No
• Weekends: Rotating
