Job Title: Traveler CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Traveler CT Technologist to join our team for temporary assignments across various healthcare facilities. In this role, you will operate CT scanning equipment, capturing high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. You will also ensure equipment functionality, adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, and provide compassionate patient care during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanning equipment to obtain diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.


  • Accurately position patients to target specific areas for imaging.


  • Perform routine maintenance and warm-up procedures on CT scanners to prolong equipment life and ensure optimal performance.


  • Maintain strict hygiene protocols by sterilizing radiologic equipment before and after use.


  • Follow physicians' written instructions for scanning procedures and administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image clarity.


  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide support, addressing any concerns or reactions to contrast agents.


  • Evaluate CT scans to ensure they meet technical quality standards for accurate diagnosis.


  • Clearly explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance as needed.


  • Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and ensure all equipment is in good working order.


Requirements:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology.


  • Valid state license to work as a CT technologist.


  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).


  • Proven experience working as a CT technologist, with the ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments.


  • CPR and BLS certification.


  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.


  • Excellent technical skills and problem-solving abilities.


  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care.


  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in fast-paced healthcare settings.
