Seeking Radiology Technologist to be part of our amazing Radiology family at NSMC

Hours: Full Time: 10 hours shifts, 40 hours/week

  • 7:00am-5:30pm
  • Holiday rotation obligation.
  • Weekend rotation obligation.
  • Some Call required.


In November of 2019 NSMC opened a brand new 65 bed ER which contains a Radiology Suite with two state of the art, Digital Fuji Devo suites and FDR Go Portables.

The ED contains 3 state of the art spacious, Trauma Rooms. Our Main Department consists of 4 Rooms two of which are R&F. We also have 6 OEC C-arms.

Under the administrative direction of the Diagnostic Manager and Clinical Lead Tech, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures and students assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Effective communication skills/ability to buildrapport with others. Organizationalskills to work in an efficient, orderly fashion. Computer proficient and ability to quicklygain competency in various hospital software applications.
  • Satisfactory completion ofa formal Radiologic Technology training program accredited by the Joint ReviewCommittee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRC/ERT) required.
  • Licensure with theDepartment of Public Health to practice Radiologic Technology in the state ofMassachusetts required. Registration or registration eligible with the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists required, for Radiography. Must beregistered within 12 months of hire.


Preferred:

  • Previous work experience asa Radiologic Technologist preferred but not required. Will consider graduates of a formal,accredited Radiologic Technology training program with required temporarylicense.
