Shift: PRN

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Team Leader and physician reading the exam, performs routine radiographic procedures utilizing all standards for quality and radiation protection. Provides personalized care, recognizing the worth and dignity of each patient. Performs technical procedures under supervision while using independent judgment. Handles confidential information regarding patient records.

Qualifications

Education: Two year AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology, AS or BS degree.

Licensure/Certification: Current ARRT and Current BLS certification.

Experience: Six (6) months experience is preferred.

Working Knowledge: Performs at a proficient level all radiology procedures and other tasks needed within the radiology department. Can operate all of the radiology equipment and the PACS System in a safe and appropriate manner. Capable of performing the necessary functions on OHH's computer system.

Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Can manipulate the patient's position and the radiology equipment to perform high quality images. Capable of sending high quality images from the radiology equipment to the PACS System and completing the exams in the Cerner Computer System.
