Work in conjunction with the Project Manager and be responsible for converting business requirements and high-level data collection needs into well-specified analyses, reporting and visualizations. Gathers BI requirements, design solutions and works with developers on their delivery. Provides guidance and support to Business Intelligence Analyst I. Maintains Revenue Cycle Systems, Database Interfaces, Maintenance, Research and Evaluation. Assists with system implementations for new business initiatives. Designs, creates and validates SQL syntaxes using multiple software to identify process improvements in an effort to optimize recovery efforts. Prepare program specifications and coding logic charts. Organize data to be meaningful to the decision at hand, promoting tactical and strategic net revenue cycle initiatives. Maintain key performance indicators and optimize syntaxes when necessary. Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end-users, managers, clients and other stakeholders. Estimated salary range for this position is $83904.64 - $109076.03 / year depending on experience.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Computer Science.
  • Experience in a Corporate operational setting, hospital business office preferred, can be considered in lieu of education requirement.
  • Knowledge &understanding of BI tool architectures/functions/features.
  • Strategically design and implement BI applications, including integration with databases/data warehouses.
  • In-depth knowledge of IS implementation life cycle with extensive analytical/Business Intelligence design skills.
  • Knowledge of Information Systems, Financial and Manage Care experience.
  • Experience in reimbursement methodologies and knowledge of contractual compliance guidelines.
  • Experience with system lifecycle processes and procedures throughout pre/post implementation.
  • Project Management experience required.
  • Strong proficiency with programming languages including, not limited to SQL/VBA/XML/Emulation scripting.
  • Experience creating stored procedures/views using multiple ODBC connections.
  • Proficiency using string manipulations/comparison commands/complex if statements/structures.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Extensive critical thinking, detail oriented, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills while working under pressure in order to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Minimum years of experience: 3
