Summary of Job Description:

The RD Data Analyst is an Integral member of the Development team, influencing real estate expansion and supporting real estate field staff with sales and impact forecasting tools and analysis. This position supports all functions within RD with data related activities. The RD Data Analyst also supports the annual Long Range Planning sessions and liaises with Operations teams. This position works with a team of Real Estate Specialists, providing effective data solutions in the deal-making process.

You'll get a chance to:
  • Provide meaningful insights by interpreting data sets from various functions within Restaurant Development, including Real Estate, Facilities, Construction, Design, Asset Management, and International.
  • Clean up and consolidate data from these various RD functions, highlighting key data points/data issues to help make RD processes more efficient.
  • Support RD Strategy & Analytics teams with various action-oriented data projects.
  • Support annual Long Range Planning sessions and overall Development plan preparation, a cross-functional effort that ensures organization alignment on growth goals across Development, Marketing, and Operations. Gathers and summarizes data to support more robust discussion.
  • Work in several platforms, including Trailblazer, Tango, and Service Channel, and searches for opportunities to be more efficient in current processes and leverage untapped data.
  • Work closely with a team of Real Estate Specialists, providing supplemental analysis on dilution and sales forecasts.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses involving demographics and proximity with various stakeholders in and out of the department, including Marketing, HR, and Panda Cares.
  • Put together data required as the basis for strategy/analytics packages for presentation to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
Your background and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Analytics, Computer Science or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Minimum three years of related experience (Data Analytics, GIS, Cartography, Business Research, Retail Planning, Facilities Data), preferably in a multi-state, multi-entity retail/hospitality environment, with increasing management responsibility
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
