Our client, a top AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Attorney to join their Real Estate Finance Practice Group. This role involves working on a wide range of real estate finance matters.

Candidate Profile:
  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active bar license in the state for which office you are applying.
  • 3+ years of experience in broad real estate finance law, preferably within a large law firm environment.
  • Experience in loan origination for large structured commercial real estate transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity, as well as asset management and workout experience.
  • Proven track record of running transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
  • Superb writing and communication skills.
  • Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support and grow a national practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage real estate finance transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
  • Handle loan origination for large structured transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
  • Work on asset management and workout matters.
  • Engage directly with clients in a dynamic and collaborative practice group.

Compensation:
Salary will range between $230,000 and $390,000, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
