Responsibilities

  • Welcome and direct visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing calls to the appropriate parties in a timely manner, take accurate and complete messages, if appropriate.
  • Must be able to maintain and uphold professional disposition with all interactions both verbally and physically including handling all complaints and requests.
  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges, etc.
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort, demonstrating willingness to help in accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provide clerical back up support for mailroom including maintaining mail room supplies; distribute mail and packages daily
  • Keep supervisor appraised of workload at all times and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to keep all business and operations information confidential


Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year office experience and/or college required; knowledge of professional secretarial and office procedures
  • Experience operating a multi-line phone system preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in utilization of office equipment with ability to fax, copy, and relevant computer use with knowledge of Microsoft software applications
  • Ability to be able to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
