JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting with recordkeeping requirements. The Records Analyst position is in place to provide assistance to the maintenance department in meeting FAR regulations and company policies. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
  • Perform routine data entry functions, creates and prepares standard and recurring reports and obtains data from electronic systems as required
  • Manipulate and present data for management upon request
  • Perform routine analysis on aircraft records and documentation to ensure accuracy and proper completion
  • Track information on specific tasks accomplished at base level (i.e.: special service bulletin compliance, light fleet modifications)
  • Work with Supply Chain to identify components that require historical information prior to being sent out for service
  • Track component changes to ensure receipt of proper documentation to complete records
  • Pull aircraft records as requested by other departments
  • Maintain scanned records as required and distribute upon request
  • Receive and file aircraft logbook pages, component cards, and 8130s recieved into the Quality Control Department and verify accuracy
  • Review Engine, Airframe, and component records for accuracy and compliance as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning, organizational and time-management skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve, manage priorities and workflows
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, management, and customers
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database experience
  • Knowledge of aircraft terminology
  • Excellent communciation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven knowledge and ability to organize official records

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years experience in an aircraft records department or similar role in the aviation industry
  • Aircraft compliance tracking software experience
  • Knowledge of Airbus, Textron aircraft maintenance programs
  • FAA Airframe Powerplant License.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to safely perform work on scaffolding or ladders.
  • Must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces for varying time durations.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects weighing ranging from 10- 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools, make adjustments and repairs, including use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Exposed to loud noise levels, vibrations, test sounds and identify functioning level of aircraft and may require the use of headphones if needed.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Inspection and repair of aircraft requires good visual acuity and eye-hand coordination.
  • See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
  • Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Frequent hands to key ability to input data and information.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
