Run queries on a daily basis through Crash Manager, make copies, and assemble crash reports for sale. Process all mail-in requests for Traffic Counter (T/C) reports and photographs. Process all third party request for T/C reports and photographs. Oversee all written requests and determine if party has proper interest, locate items, reproduce items or request reproduction, complete currency transactions and prepare counter receipts. Perform tasks with little supervision once trained. Maintain confidentiality and assist others accessing files. Assist the Front Desk Officer in greeting and assisting the public at the front lobby counter. Assist with re-directing incoming telephone calls to the appropriate desk or staff in an efficient and professional manner. Transfer callers to voicemail, take written messages, look up crash reports, and use WebWS to assist/update or locate civilian's towed/stored/impounded vehicles and give accurate information, following departmental policy, to proper parties of interest. Responsible for the handling of incoming calls regarding T/C and/or photo requests. Incoming calls may be from of involved parties, passengers property owners insurance companies, attorneys, family members, allied agencies and persons of interest. Distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate desk or staff in an efficient and professional manner. Maintain balances for daily cash fund transmittal for all report monies. Run a daily log to ensure accuracy for monies for Mobile Video Audio Recording System (MVARS), T/Cs, subpoenas and all monies received for the area office by updating a daily log of money totals. Process and maintain files for all traffic crash reports taken at the front counter. Enter data from all counter reports into the Area Information System (AIS). Perform other job-related duties within the scope of the classification.

Working Conditions
Typical office setting, indoors in a temperature controlled building. Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time, minimal lifting, standing, and walking.

Monday through Friday. 8:00am to 5:00pm, except state holidays.
