Summary

Serves as a Recreation Aid (Pool Attendant) AFRC in the Aquatics Department of the Hale Koa Hotel.

Duties

Incumbent works under the direction of the Aquatics Manager and Head Lifeguards. The pool attendant will manage the towel stand to include greeting guests, checking guest identification for authorized entry into the pool area, provide information, ensure that pool rules are followed, bands or stamps authorized users entry into the pool areas, pushes towel bins to and from the pool, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the towel stand and towel bins. Will work together with the lifeguard staff to provide a safe and clean area of the pool desk, and will report any problems or concerns to their direct chain of command.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position

  • One year probationary period may be required
  • A physical examination may be required
  • Must be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and various hours of the day and week when required.


Qualifications

Within 60 days of hire, must possess a current nationally recognized CPR/AED certification and participate in weekly training to maintain skill level
