Job Duties

Catawba Hospital is seeking an awesome team player for their Psychosocial Rehabilitation department. This position is for a psychosocial rehabilitation therapist with a passion for facilitating music, recreation, movement-related, and/or process-oriented group interventions. The candidate would work in a fast-paced setting, facilitating groups for both adult and geriatric individuals. They would also be the co-coordinator of an interdisciplinary treatment team on an adult psychiatric unit with duties including assigning treatment plans to team members, writing treatment plans, creation of monthly calendars, and facilitating daily meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous group facilitation and documentation experience working with people with mental illness is preferred. Also, the preferred candidate will have experience conducting, organizing, and planning meetings and special events.

Additional Considerations

CTRS or COTA preferred but certification or licensure required within six months of hire.
