General Description / Primary Purpose | This is work coordinating and performing recycle and refuse collection on the university campus to include operating large dump trucks, pickup trucks, utility vehicles with tow able carts, forklifts and other equipment in a safe and legal manner while performing the duties of gathering these materials for resale or disposal from throughout the campus and transporting them off campus to recycling vendors when required. |
Essential Duties
Job Function | Collection of refuse and recyclable materials. Processes recyclable/refuse materials. Disposes of scrap metals. Disposes of surplus equipment. Tables/chairs set-up requests. This position is designated as a Tier 2 respondent for designated campus emergencies and events. In the event of a declared campus emergency, the position incumbent will make every effort to return to campus when directed. |
