Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, Legal, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in corporate real estate and workplace including facilities operations, design development and project management of corporate real estate assets.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience in corporate facilities operations/real estate design/construction project management/leadership.
  • Experience with portfolio planning.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Architecture, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, related field, or LEED AP certification.
  • Experience in a high-tech, fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple and changing initiatives.
  • Experience leading global project teams and initiatives with multi-country stakeholders.
  • Ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated strategic and leadership skills directing teams or organizations.
  • Proven record of influencing strategic change and initiatives where prudent.


About the job

As the Regional Director, Northeast, you will be the single point of accountability within Real Estate Workplace Services (REWS) in New York, Washington DC, Virginia and Cambridge regions ("Northeast") reporting to the General Manager of the Americas. In this role, you will be responsible for several key areas where you will own and elevate day-to-day workplace operations and - oversee Facility Operations, Food, Health and Performance, and Events - to ensure a fully integrated, seamless and inspiring Googler experience. Second, you'll be responsible for integrating all real estate planning initiatives alongside workplace services and programs, and centers of excellence across the Northeast. Third, you'll guide the delivery of a holistic workplace experience that empowers collaboration, productivity, and well-being for Googlers, working closely with design teams to reflect the latest thinking in hybrid work innovation. Fourth, you'll be responsible for managing and nurturing the REWS partnership with New York, Washington DC, Virginia and Cambridge Site Leadership, ensuring robust and timely communication on all REWS activities, including preparation and participation at the various site leadership meeting forums.

This role will have an opportunity to lead and continue to elevate the influence of the broader REWS team in the Northeast region and drive change to support this complex and critical portfolio.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $230,000-$331,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the existing Northeast portfolio. Manage a direct and indirect team, providing oversight for your team's projects and initiatives.

  • Empower technical experts by providing clear direction and valuing their expertise. Create collaborative opportunities, cultivate partnerships, and drive alignment with stakeholders to address challenges, or identify new opportunities and solutions to further business goals.
  • Manage individual and team performance, focusing on nurturing future talent and leaders in the organization. Work cross-functionally with other internal support organizations, such as Corporate Engineering (i.e. internal systems), People Operations, Finance, Communications, and Legal to ensure cohesive delivery of services.
