A client of Insight Global is looking for a Regional Environmental Engineer to sit within their facility in Lansing, IL. Main responsibilities will include developing standards and policies to support regulatory, complete environmental performance analysis, establish metrics in accordance to company and federal standards, and performance phase one and phase two audits for air and waste permitting. This candidate will need to manage and oversee compliance across multiple levels of the organization, ensure work performed by consultants meets company standards, and develop metrics around plant environmental performance. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Presenting technical data and strategies to customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring adherence to formulation, safety, environmental, and other company standards or processes
- Prioritizing and managing multiple technically complex assignments simultaneously
This position will report directly to the EHS Manager and involve occasional travel (1-2x a quarter) to the other facilities in Chattanooga, TN and Cleveland, OH.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4-7 Years of experience working as an environmental engineer/specialist in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- 3-5 years of experience with Air permitting and audits
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 system (ISO 9000 could translate)
Bachelor Degree in Environmental engineering or related fields
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Project Leadership experience
