The role you'll contribute:

The Regional Executive Director, Cardiology Services provides administrative oversight and has comprehensive responsibility for directing Cardiology Services for all AdventHealth facilities in the Highlands and Hardee markets. This includes hospital-based and outpatient cardiology procedure departments. This role is accountable for strategic planning, development of standardized services, and the integration of hospital and non-hospital-based encounters for specific age groups as defined in scope of services. Responsible for staffing standards, resource needs, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. Works with multidisciplinary leadership in the planning, and implementation of system-wide programs that align with the goals of the organization. Provides consultation to influence identified plans, enhance the abilities of others, and affect change in the organization. Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peer and colleagues and collaborates with all levels of clinical staff, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan, and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, federal agencies, and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Oversees clinical and operational performance for all areas of Cardiology Services including Peri-anesthesia locations and procedure rooms. Collaborates with other procedural area leadership to ensure standardization of care as appropriate.
• Develops and implements initiatives, processes, and creates goals that align with the campus strategies while still supporting AdventHealth system initiatives. Monitors relevant outcomes and provides suggestion for process change to ensure that the departments are providing services at a level that is appropriate for all stakeholders
• Promotes a safe environment for all stakeholders at AdventHealth.
• Accountable for assuring compliance and provides evidence of performance with DNV and other regulatory requirements for Cardiology Services. Operationalizes and assures compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Center for Disease and Prevention (CDC) and Patient Safety regulations at the service line level. Adheres to applicable practice standards that relate to their area of specialty
• Leads out for Cardiology Services and organizational policy formulation and decision-making utilizing clinical expertise as a guideline. Assures organizational clinical policies and procedures are reviewed and updated in accordance with evidence-based practice.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Master's degree in health administration, education, business, or related field
• Ten years' experience in nursing
• Seven years' experience in leadership roles in a comparable health care entity
• Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse
