Job Responsibilities
  • Sales Management: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow products and services in the assigned region.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with both end-users and OEM accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Territory Management: Manage the assigned sales territory, including maintaining existing business, developing new business, and meeting annual sales growth targets.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including service, operations, and product development, to support sales efforts and meet customer needs.
  • Customer Database Management: Maintain detailed customer profiles and records in electronic format, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Travel & Customer Engagement: Plan and conduct face-to-face customer visits to foster relationships and secure business opportunities, with up to 80% travel required.
  • Account Management: Develop a target account list and maintain records of account activity, sales performance, and potential opportunities.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Analyze market trends and customer data to forecast sales opportunities, providing regular reports on sales performance, market penetration, and customer feedback.
  • Budget Management: Manage the sales budget for the assigned region, ensuring expenditures align with company goals and deliver maximum ROI.
  • Customer Feedback & Product Development Collaboration: Offer feedback to the product development team based on customer needs and market trends, contributing to the innovation and improvement of products and services.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM tools to manage and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are tracked from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Compliance & Ethical Sales Practices: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations, promote ethical sales practices, and maintain the integrity of customer interactions.
  • Support in Complex Sales: Assist in navigating complex sales situations, helping to finalize deals with key clients and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Customer Training & Support: Provide training sessions to customers on products, ensuring they understand the value and proper use of the solutions offered.

Required Experience & Skills
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in industries involving vacuum pumps and systems, heat-treating furnaces, or autoclaves, including their service, installation, and relocation.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of vacuum theory, market competitors, and product distribution.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as maintaining electronic records in databases.
  • Driver's License: Must maintain a current and valid driver's license
