Summary:
SKF Aerospace Business Unit is looking for a Regional Sales Account Manager. This is a sales position that requires excellent communication skills and a clear business and profit-oriented focus. Candidates will need to balance their efforts between servicing current business and developing new opportunities. The ideal candidates will be located in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware or Washington DC.

Responsibilities:
  • Win majority market share positions for all SKF products on key aircraft programs.
  • Develop and manage contracts spanning multiple Global SKF Aerospace manufacturing locations.
  • Develop and sustain strong customer relationships across all levels of the customer organization.
  • Define strategies to apply to customer accounts in terms of product forecasting, price, and profit development.
  • Review, negotiate and execute profitable long term customer contracts in tough business environments.
  • Proactively obtain and leverage voice of the customer (VOC) information.
  • Assist in building and meeting annual business plan.
  • Build and define quotes for new business.
  • Support Applications Engineering efforts (from multiple national and international facilities).
  • Understand market trends and their impact to our business growth and profitability.
  • Contribute to marketing activities and reporting of key metrics, including monthly forecasting, profit performance, supporting accounts receivable, and process mapping.
  • Participate in project review teams.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, Engineering, or Business preferred.
  • MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Sales, or Business Development preferably Aerospace related.
  • French speaking business proficiency a plus.
  • Familiarity with the U.S Government Contracting process.
  • Familiarity with aftermarket, PMA development, and FAA regulations a plus.
  • Willingness and Ability to travel 25% to 50% domestically and internationally (as required).
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international team.
  • Aerospace technical aptitude.
  • Comfortable engaging customers at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Ability to work and motivate in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Results-driven, self-starter with a proven record of accomplishment in commercial/technical roles.
  • Experience with development and management of contracts spanning multiple Global Aerospace manufacturing locations.
