Registerd Nurse Circulator/Scrub - Operating Room

Job Description: The RN/Scrub assists the surgeon via scrubbing, passing of instruments, performing counts and hand-off of specimens. They should have the knowledge of instrumentation and setup of all cases. Performs specific intra-operative procedures, e.g., counts, preps, positions, etc. Uses professional knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide timely patient care, e.g., timely open of cases, turnover of rooms, etc. Demonstrates correct and safe techniques in use of all equipment, e.g., bovies, lasers. ortho tables. and video equipment.

Education: Valid/current Kentucky RN license. Successful completion of BLS within introductory period. Successful completion of ACLS within 6 months with renewal every two years. Successful completion of PALS within one year with
renewal every 2 years.

Experience: One year Med/Surg clinical experience or related nursing experience preferred.

Full time position available.
On Call- required.
