Qualifications:

Job Goal: To provide intensive behavior support services to students by working
collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to implement behavior intervention
plans for students that require consistent and significant behavior support during the
school day.

Essential Functions:
1. Understand and apply basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA) in the
school setting as directed by a teacher and/or Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA).
2. Implements procedures for targeted behavior reduction with fidelity.
3. Implements skill acquisition procedures for ABA services and supports with fidelity.
4. Collects and reports required data and service documentation and assists in
graphing data.
5. Assists with behavior assessments
6. Facilitates independent work under direction of a teacher
7. Provides escort and assistance to students as necessary throughout a variety of
school and community settings.
8. Alerts the teacher and/or BCBA to any problem and special information about
individual students.
9. Attends parent conferences and IEP meetings, as appropriate
10. Performs other duties as assigned

Duty Days: 187

Salary Range: According to Madison County Schools Salary Schedule. Actual salary will be determined by rank and experience. Current employees with questions regarding step placement on the salary schedule should contact the Personnel Department.
