Position Title, Specialty: Registered Nurse, Acute

Department/Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)- A level IV neonatal intensive care unit. The highest level of medical care is provided to premature and critically ill newborns. The NICU environment incorporates the philosophies of family centered care and developmentally supportive care. Advanced therapies include high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). The NICU also supports ongoing clinical research studies.

Shift/Hours: Night Shifts / 36 hours (.9FTE)

Expected Salary Range: Minimum $32.80/hour; Mid-point $38.16/hour; Salary determined based on years of nursing experience.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institute with 2 yr. exp.

• If hired as an external candidate without BSN or MSN, must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year of hire date and complete program within 5 years of hire date.

• Active Ohio RN License. May be required to obtain other state licensure.

• Foreign graduates must have license validated through CGFNS per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-administrative-code/rule-4723-7-04.
