Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care

Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN):

An Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse is a nurse who specializes in providing care to patients outside of a hospital setting, such as in clinics, medical offices, and patients' homes. They play a vital role in promoting health and managing chronic conditions.

Responsibilities may include:

Assessing patients' health status and medical history

Administering medications and treatments

Monitoring and documenting patient progress

Communicating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care

Educating patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care

Maintaining patient medical records and updating care plans

Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures.

Requirements:

A current Registered Nurse (RN) license

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, although an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) may be sufficient in some cases

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to manage a complex patient caseload

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

This is a not full time but contracted travel position.
