Title: Registered Nurse Analyst
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid/1 day per week onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement

*REQUIRED: Registered Nurse with Medicare experience. Utilization Management experience is preferred. *

Engagement Description

• Supporting the Development and Maintenance the repository of medical policies, including annual reviews/updates
• Collaboration with Medical Director on medical policy development and maintenance
• Assist with the review of JUMP meeting minutes to update Medicare Policies where needed
• Supporting the preparation of policies and documents for CRC and UMC Meetings
• Research CPT or HCPCS codes as needed
• Researching medical technologies as needed for specific cases requesting authorizations on technologies

Top Required Skills/Experience

• Familiar with Microsoft Office products
• Familiar with CMS NCD/LCDs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research skills

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience with researching and writing policies, preferred but not required

Education/Certifications

• Clinical background/education
