Summary

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!
  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months' separation from employment.
  • Position Summary
    • The Clinical Manager is responsible for supervising and overseeing all operational aspects of the clinical department, including clinical services and staffing needs. The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating workflows in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe and comprehensive patient care. The Clinical Manager Works with the department medical director and other practice leadership to ensure success of the department as measured by the quadruple aim.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: BSN preferred
    • License/Certifications: Active State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure; Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or within 3 months of hire.
    • Experience: Five years of experience in the nursing field; Supervisory/managerial experience
    • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and standards, medical procedures, tests, and clinical/clerical skills necessary to perform all functions and assist physicians. Knowledge of pharmacology is desirable.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, families, and other health care providers
    • Analytical ability sufficient to identify patients at risk and initiate appropriate action.
    • Ability to identify potential crisis situations involving patients and/or families, and to plan strategies for managing these situations when they arise.
    • Analytical ability required gathering and interpreting information necessary to resolve problems in an accurate and timely manner. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
    • Experience working with computers.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
