Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive care to a predominantly geriatric patient population. The RN will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure high-quality patient care. This role also involves patient education and directing the activities of ancillary personnel, all while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide patient-centered care through assessments, planning, implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes, specifically tailored for geriatric patients.
• Supervision & Guidance: Direct and guide patient teaching, support staff activities, and ensure that all care provided meets professional nursing standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to geriatric patients with complex health needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an Emergency Department or Critical Care setting.
• Education:
  
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred.
