Job Description

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women's Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees.We're looking for Experienced Emergency Room Nurses with current New York State license to take on the challenge of our fast-paced emergency room. Our ideal ER nurse will have at least (2) years of inpatient clinical experience, be quick-thinking, with strong assessment skills, and the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.

Requirements

• NYS RN LICENSE REQUIRED
• MINIMUM 2 YEARS MED/SURG EXP REQUIRED
• MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR OF ER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• ACLS/BCLS REQUIRED
• GOOD CRITCAL THINKING, ORGANIZATIONAL, INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILS REQUIRED
• BSN REQUIRED

SALARY

$56.05-$70.58 per hour including shift differential and based on applicable education and experience
