Community Health Network has an excellent opportunity available within the Wound Care Center at Community Howard Hospital in Kokomo, IN. If you are looking for challenging and meaningful work, then you should consider a career with Community. The Registered Nurse will care for patients with wounds that are greater than 30 days old and are not healing properly. You will act as a direct care professional to wound care patients and will perform intakes (initial assessments, charting) and discharges (instructions, dressings) as well as function in a case management role.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). (Required)
• Med/Surg RN experience preferred.
• Wound/Ostomy experience required.
• Wound Care or Ostomy Certification preferred.
