Job Summary: - Provides direct and indirect patient care in the ICU setting. - Communicates with physicians/Nursing Director/coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patients clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. - Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. - Able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Skill/Educational Requirements: - Current Colorado Registered Nurse license. - Current BLS certification. - ACLS required within one year of hire. - PEARS required within 6 months of hire. - PALS required within one year of hire. - Successful completion of arrhythmia course within 6 months of hire.
