Job Description

The ICU RN will provide care for patients with life-threatening conditions or comorbidities requiring sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. 

The Critical Care nurse will work in a highly challenging environment requiring deep thinking, strong knowledge, and quick thinking to care for the highest acuity level patients.

The ICU nurse will be adept at working with patients with different conditions: overdose, post-surgery, trauma, chronic illness, etc.

License/Certification:

BLS(AHA) and ACLS

2 years of ICU experience.

Skills:

Computer charting experience EPIC

MA or crisis licence not eligible for the emergency license if they have previous hits on licence


Additional details

2 plus yrs current experience- BLS, ACLS, NIH; 1:2/3 ratios; Meditech EMR, Must have WV or compact license. this is an 8 wk contract. DISCLOSURE: ALL Facilities work a Schedule of 36/48 for the two week pay period unless notated otherwise on job order. Ratios can fluctuate with census, call ins, etc. Orientation is bi-weekly. Start date on job is start date needed. Resource must reside 100 miles from facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation needs to be loaded with in 24 hrs. of accepting offer. 

Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
