Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Deliver efficient and effective patient care through clear communication with patients and healthcare staff.
• Provide comprehensive care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering patients.
• Regularly assess patient conditions, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, maintain accurate records, and provide educational support to patients.
• Coordinate individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
• Work independently, under supervision, to achieve care goals for patients.
• Conduct regular patient assessments competently.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.

• Exhibit excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

License/Certification:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program, along with appropriate licensure.

Work Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
