Giving preoperative instructions.

Preparing patients for surgery.

Assisting the Anaesthetist and Surgeons when needed.

Sterilizing and marking incision sites.

Intervening when there are complications.

Administering medication.

Preparing the operating room.

Job details
2 plus years out outpatient surgery experience in an acute hospital setting. Hours may vary but base shift is 11AM-7:30pm- will work till all cases are complete. BLS, ACLS required. KY or compact license. Monday- Friday, no weekend, no on call. DISCLOSURE: ALL Facilities work a Schedule of 36/48 for the two week pay period unless notated otherwise on job order. Ratios can fluctuate with census, call ins, etc. Orientation is bi-weekly. Start date on job is start date needed. Resource must reside 100 miles from facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation needs to be loaded with in 24 hrs. of accepting offer.
