Registered Nurse (RN) Pre-Op Specials -PRN Days

Our Texas Health Center for Diagnostics and Surgery center is looking for a Pre-Op Specialist willing to cross train to Pre-Assessment and GI/Pain Management. Is that you?

WORK LOCATION: The address is 6020 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093

SCHEDULE: PRN Days for 6 shifts per every 6 weeks. 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM; no weekends or holidays

HERE's WHAT YOU NEED:

EDUCATION:

• Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.

• BSN preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• One year as a registered nurse or completion of RN residency program

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support- Prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

• ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support- within 90 days of hire required

• PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support-within 90 days of hire required

• IV Start
• Customer Service
• Patient Safety
• Ability to advocate for patient.
