Position Summary

The Registered Nurse will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure the clinic's efficient operation and will assist in patient care. The Registered Nurse will possess outstanding organizational and communication skills and will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Incorporates the six principles of trauma informed care throughout all aspects of their work.
  • Assists healthcare providers with patient appointments and procedures
  • Obtains and records patient vital signs, medical history, and medications
  • Prepares and administers medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Performs various clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKG, and injections
  • Maintains accurate and thorough patient records in electronic health records system
  • Provides patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare measures
  • Schedules and coordinates patient appointments and follow-up
  • Ensures the cleanliness and organization of patient care areas and supplies
  • Adheres to all healthcare regulations and safety standards
  • Performs all other assigned duties

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Current active nursing license in the state of Indiana
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in electronic health records software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
