Registered Nurse RN & New Grad RN- MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center- IMC ICU

This position is for experienced and new graduate registered nurse on the Intermediate Care (IMC) and Intensive Care Unit ICU at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.

Intensive Care Unit ICU Highlights

42 Bed Unit
Caring for a wide patient population set including but not limited to medical, respiratory, cardiac, renal failure, GI and surgical patients
Opportunity to cross train to Neurological Critical Care Unit
Excellent leadership with flexible scheduling

Intermediate Care IMC Unit Highlights

48 Bed Unit
Mix of High Acuity Intermediate Care and Medical-Surgical patients
Chronic vents, insulin drips
Excellent leadership and tenured core group of RNs who work well together and with newer nurses on the unit
Flexible scheduling


Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications
\r

\r
• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
\r
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
\r
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
