Position Summary:
RN coordinates the Robotics service line at Memorial Medical Center to include establishing and preparing for the program and the use of robotics as a mechanism to deliver unique services in surgical care. This includes planning for and oversight of training, supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for the delivery of surgical care across the continuum in robotic surgery. The Robotics Services Coordinator is integral in evaluating service needs, care delivery related to quality, safety, and efficiency of care for the robotic surgery program at Memorial Medical Center. Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Position Summary:

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree is required. Graduate of a School of Nursing program. Bachelor's degree and Master's degree is preferred.
- Current license as an RN in New Mexico or compact license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is Preferred.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required for all areas where moderate sedation is performed.
- New Hires/Transfers: Requires certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
- Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with various robotic surgery systems.
